Our Story

The Ratio is Dr. Rivera's passion project, born of her love of creativity, beauty and helping people feel their best. Along with her aesthetic skills, Dr. Rivera brings to her patients  a record of excellence and rigorous surgical training. She completed surgical residency in Las Vegas at University of Nevada and a Head and Neck fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer institute. Dr. Rivera is board certified in General Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

At The Ratio we focus almost exclusively on laser assisted liposuction in our office. We use the Beautifill Laser liposuction system from Alma Lasers for all of our in office procedures. This device allows for gentle separation of the fat and subsequent aspiration. Beautifill is so gentle to the fat cells that up to 95% of cells are still viable after initial removal. Compare this to only 50-60% of cells with traditional fat transfer techniques.

Dr. Rivera not only provides laser liposuction services, but also teaches nationally for Alma. Education and teaching has been a lifelong passion for her and she enjoys the opportunity to share her knowledge.
